Softball Sundays Fun & Fellowship Reunion
Join us at the place where it all began. It’s the 1st ever Softball Sundays Fun & Fellowship REUNION!! We’re bringing Sunday softball back to Cherry Park for a celebration fellowshipping with old friends and neighbors. If you’ve never attended a Fun and Fellowship Softball Sunday, no problem! Come and meet new friends and neighbors as we fellowship with one another and enjoy a good time, good music, good fun, and as always, lots of laughs.. Bring the kids and the rest of the family because there’s fun for the whole family! If you, your kid(s), a family member, or friends are interested in participating in a game, please reach out to the Commish as we know everyone has gotten older and Ben Gay only goes so far. Rosters will be formed day of event on a first come first served ‘bases’ (LOL). Get it? Number of teams and games will depend only on players available to participate. Kids Softball will depend on number of participants as well. See you there! HYDRATE!!!

Voter Registration and Free Voter ID Give-a-way
As a part of National Night Out, the N.E.W. M.E. Inc is partnering with the Mecklenburg County Board of Elections and C.N. Jenkins Memorial Presbyterian Church to provide free Voter Identification cards for any registered voter, answer voting related questions and register any Mecklenburg County resident who is eligible to register. The identification card issued are approved and acceptable at all Mecklenburg County voting locations. So grab a nonregistered voter and come out for this wonderful opportunity to have your original Voter ID card created and get answers to your voting related questions.
